Discovery 2012 – A Recap

After a few weeks of preparation, which including a few daring marketing experiments (fortune cookie, anyone?), DISCOVERY 2012 finally arrived yesterday. And now that it’s over, it’s safe to say that it was a total success. Well over 100 eager attendees filled the room to hear Rabbis Jacobs and Harris lead the world-famous seminar. When it was over, everyone enjoyed a delicious buffet while discussing everything they’d just taken in. It was great to hear peoples’ positive feedback, as well as their suggestions, over cheese and crackers. Thank you to everyone who came! Your enthusiasm made all our efforts feel really worthwhile. Although there are quite a few fortune cookies left, should anybody feel like stopping by for a snack :-)
In other news, our next event is a Wednesday night lecture/Friday night dinner combo featuring the remarkable author and speaker Dov Ber (Bradley) Cohen. And finally, a word on our weekly Learning Cafe at Pushcart Coffee downtown. We started with just a few attendees, but each week, the audience has doubled in size!
